That’s we’re gonna cover today at AgencyConsultin.io and more things too. We’re gonna go through because obviously like if you’re wanting to start your own digital marketing agency. That’s the core that’s obviously the title of this video.
You need to know how to get your first clients. You know how to go to have success with those clients because I know a lot of people. They like want to start their own agency, but their biggest fear .
This is me a couple years ago is why I want to get clients. But what if I have no idea how to help them how to run ads for them how to get leads or success or any of that stuff.
How to really build a digital marketing agency?
So, I want to cover that for you all today get those first couple and honestly, you can run your own market agency as a one-man show and take in a ten thousand dollars per month Fairly easy.
It really is not that hard. That’s what I went through and did but now I’ve kind of merged to the fact where I am Just you know I’m trying to go through and specialize only in sales and market.
We’re going to talk about that here as well, okay, so Awesome guys.
Let’s jump into this so the first point.
What you need to do first is go through and get experience with Facebook advertising with marketing with starting your own agency.
Whether it’s SEO Facebook Ads Google Ads whatever it is and so Number one key point number one kind of contradicts number two which I’ll tell you about here It is a little bit, but you need experience, so it doesn’t matter.
What clients you’re going to go through and grab could be chiropractors, dentists, real estate agents, gym owners, restaurants anything you just need to go through and get familiar with the whole Facebook advertising marketing process right now when I first got started This is me back when I was super naive with all this stuff.
Whatever the timeframe is and say hey look you know I’ve been really studying Facebook advertising.
It’s really hot right now, there’s so many successful case studies out there and I want to go through and help you with your restaurant with your gym with your you know real estate agency.
Whatever it is and help you go through and market that business Okay, so you go through and you say hey?
You don’t even have to pay me Okay After the two-week trial or before we trial whatever you’re doing you can say then we can go through and we can talk about What the right amount to pay me is?

And we kind of move forward from there, okay, so we’ll just like we’ll use your Facebook advertising money Okay So they set aside a budget of 200 400 500 whatever the number is and you go use that money to gain that skill set Because honestly guys I’ve been through a lot of Facebook advertising Courses and all that stuff especially when I first got started but honestly at the other day it all comes down to just getting that experience and going through and Using the ads manager in Facebook or Google or any of that stuff And you will learn way quicker way more by actually going through and gaining that experience okay, so anyway, that’s number one and the best way to go through and get clients you guys have probably seen this on some other trainings of Mine or some other people is just going through and posting on Facebook hey, I’ve been studying Facebook ads where I’ve been studying you know at Google Ads or whatever you’re like been focusing on and I’m looking for some people to go through and help them out.

- What's going on, guys? JR here, welcome to another video.
In this video, I'mactually in the corvette.
And I'm gonna the answer the question, or I'm gonna give you guys a way, to close the clients on the phone before you even actually get on the phone.
So, basically what you want to do is, before you get on the phone with someone to do business with them or if you're going to bemeeting with them in person.
Before you meet them orget on the phone with them, you want them to think very highly of you before you get on the phone with them, before you meet with them in person.
So, I'll explain why in a bit, but there was a study done where they took a universityclass of about 30 people and they each, they gave them a substitute teacher for the day.
But before the substitute teacher came in, they gave half the group a bio, like a biography onthe substitute teacher, and the other half a different bio.
So one of the bios was very positive and one of them was very negative.
So one of them said, this professor is a cold-hearted professor, he's very strict, he's just a cold person to deal with.
And then the other half got a positive bio that said, he's a great teacher, he's a great person,he's a very nice person, he's pleasant to deal with, all these different things.
So then he came in, he gave his lecture.
And at the end of the class they gave all of the students a survey.
And they said, how wouldyou rate Mr.
So and So on his performance today? So the half that got thenegative biography of this guy, they had very negativeand unfavorable reviews.
But the half that gotthe positive biography, they had very positive reviews.
Now, how could this be if they both just witnessed the same exact lecture? Well, it's all in the pre-framing.
How you pre-frame your potential clients, your potential customers, is going to determine howthey interact with you and how likely they are to close.
So let me give you a real life example.
Before I used to pre-frame people before I got on the phone with them, I'd get on the phone and their number one, their number one objection, or the number one thingon their mind would be, is this guy legit, is this a scam? Can he really get me results? All these different things.
So then, once I learned about pre-framing, I made a video.
I made a video and I showed them, and actually the video ofme talking about this video is on my Facebook, it'sactually on this YouTube channel another video, I'll makesure I link to it below.
So I made this video.
And I took them throughthe entire process.
I took them through the entire process.
And then any time I got a client.
So I took that videoand I ran it as an ad, and that was my pre-framing.
But any time I got a client that didn't come from that ad, like maybe I was doingcold email outreach, or a referral or whatever, I would make sure thatI send them this video so that they're now pre-framed.
So, eventually I learnedto take it up a notch, and now I made a speaker reel video, and I have videos of me on TV.
And I send that to people and I say, "Hey, before we talk, just watch this "so you can get to know a little more "about who I am and what I do.
" So another way that I seethis done wrong all the time, is anytime you're speaking, anytime you're gonnabe speaking somewhere, doing a presentation, you usually are going tobe introduced by someone.
So, instead of leaving it to chance and hoping that this person gives you a favorable introduction that is going to cause thecrowd to think highly of you, what I do, is I havethe speaker reel video, me on TV and all these different things.
And I get to kind of pick how I want the audience to perceive me.
So anytime I'm being introduced to speak, and they say, how do youwant to be introduced? I usually just play thisvideo at the beginning, and it builds me up in the crowd's mind.
So then when I come out, they're already primed to think highly and think favorably of me.
So that is a huge, huge key.
So as soon as I started pre-framing, when I'd get on the phone with people, or I'd get e-mails from people and they'd be like, "Hey JR, I just want to makesure we're still on today, "I'm very excited tospeak to you on the phone.
"I'm very exited to speak to you.
" So anytime I got a messagelike that from someone, like say I'd send them thevideo to pre-frame them, and they wrote back and said, "I'm very excited to speak to you," I knew that they were pre-framed properly, and they're ready, they're already primed for me to get on the phone with them.
Anyways, that's all Igot for you guys today.
That is a huge tip.
Now, one last thing.
Now, you might be thinking, "Well JR, I haven't been on TV.
"I haven't spoken anywhere.
" A year ago, I hadn't been on TV, I hadn't spoken anywhere either.
Make it happen.
It sounds difficult, but it's not.
Make it happen, look outfor those opportunities.
But, if you're like, okay, I want to make this video today but I don't have these things, go to an event and takesome credibility shots.
At these different marketing events, there's usually somefamous marketers there.
Like, you can run into Tai Lopez or Russell Brunson, or whoever.
Have somebody follow you around with a video camera whenyou're meeting these people and shaking their hands, and just take differentshots of you at the event, talking to people, meeting people, and just overlay that ina video with you talking, and talking a littlebit about who you are.
Add some dramatic music, be done with it.
Just being at an event and getting shots of you shaking hands with people and talking to peopleand making people laugh, it comes off as a credibility clip.
Another thing you can do, and this one is, this is another one of my little hacks, at every event that you can go to, or any event where there'sa stage or whatever, usually, if it's a full day event, there's a lunch break.
So what happens if there's a lunch break? Everybody gets up and startswalking towards the room.
So if you want to get yourquick credibility shot, and I wish I would have known about this when I was first starting out, quick jump on stage inbetween the lunch break.
Get someone to take liketwo pictures of you, two or three pictures of you onstage with different poses,and then just use that as credibility shots.
Or you can use that,they can take a video, or anything like that.
Also, that goes a long way towards getting speakinggigs other places, but I'll do another videoon that in the future.
Anyways, that's all I'vegot for you guys today.
I've got a pretty longdrive here in front of me.
I'm actually heading back home now.
But good thing that I'm in the corvette.
So it's been a lot of fun so far, I've been enjoying this car quite a bit, but I'm getting ready to geta cool vinyl for the back that's gonna have a websitewith an opt-in for people.
This car gets a lot of attention, and a lot of people wanna ask what I do, and they wanna ask me if they can take pictures with it and stuff, so I figured, if I get a vinyl in the back with a domain name, I can get free traffic directed to that with this car, so that'll be pretty cool as well.

But, before I do that Iwant to show you exactly what an applicationfunnel is, how it works, and how it can work foryour specific business.
So, with that saidlets jump right in.
So, the first thingI want to show you is kinda the diagram of what a High Ticket Funnel looks like.
It looks like this.
It's very simple, its justthree core pages plus a pop-up.
So, page numberone is what we call a reverse squeeze page.
This is where yougive them some kinda case study, or some kindainformation about what it's like to actuallywork with you.
And they click on the button,and then the next page here on the pop-upthen asks, um, they give you theiremail address.
Then, the page after that, your taking they uh,you take them to a spot, where they can actually go apply to work directly with you.
And the last page, you thank them forthe application, and tell them what's goingto be happening next.
It's a very simple funnel,its super easy to create, and very powerful.
Now, this is what it mightlook like if you were to create one here insideof Click Funnels.
Page number 1, you got a casestudy, and there is a pop-up, for the email address.
Number three, is theapplication page, where they applyto work with you.
And, then number fouris the thank you page, where you explain what'sgoing to be happening next.
Okay, so where didapplication funnels come from? And, these work really good ifyour in any kind of coaching, or consulting, orselling high ticketed, and expensive things,where typically you get somebody on the phone.
Now, in a earlier businessthat I use to have, we made all of our money,by actually calling all of our leads.
And in fact, we builtthe entire call center, we had 60 full-time salespeople who were calling every single lead that came in.
Talking to them, qualifyingthem, trying to figure out who's a good fit.
Then we would sellthem our high ticket products and services, andcoaching and consulting.
And, it worked well, butit was a lot of overhead, it was a lot of stress, andif anyone has ever worked with 60 full time salespeople, you know that, um, that can be kinda stressful.
And, so what we did eventually, I ended up shuttingdown that company down, but I missed sellingthe really expensive high ticket consultingand coaching, and things like that,that we were doing.
And, I tried to figure outhow do we change this around and make it easier.
And, so what we did,instead of going in outbound calling every singlelead that ever came in, we built theseapplications funnels, to qualify all of thepeople, all of the leads, to find out who wasthe cream of the crop, and then we wouldonly talk to them.
And, so we shifted around,these 60 full time sales people, to where we shifted it tousing an application funnel.
Went down to havingjust one salesperson.
Yes, just one salespersondoing the same amount, of net revenue as 60full time salespeople where doing before.
And, so I'm goingto walk you through exactly how this processworks, because it will give you so much less stress,so much less anxiety, and the same amount ofmoney as having a huge team of salespeople working for you.
Okay, so here is howit actually works.
Step number one, is the veryfirst page in your funnel, you create a case study.
Now, a case studyabout what its like to actually work with you.
A success story, um whatyou do with the results you get for somebody, andyou share this success story on the very first page After someone watchesthat, they think, "Hey man, I want that samecase study in my business or my life," or whateverit is you are selling.
And, then the secondstep in the process then is to have them apply, toactually work directly with you.
Now, what this does is it takesit from you outbound calling and trying to sellevery single person, every single leads you have,to which flips it on it's side, were we do now, it'sa takeaway sell.
They're now presenting andtrying to explain to you, through this application,why you should choose them as a client.
And, then on the thirdpage, then you tell them what to expect next.
Now, for me it was hey,in the next 24 hours, someone is going tocall you from my office, we are going toreview the application to see if you area good fit, and that way they knowwhat's going to happen.
You are going to callthem on the phone.
And, then you can sell themthe product, the service, the coaching, theconsulting, whatever it is you're going to be sellingon the phone anyway.
Now, like I said, is whatthis does is it qualifies, it pre-schedules, itgets everybody readyto be able to work with you directly, and itmakes your life so much easier.
So, next question is like,well, how would you use an application funnel insideof your specific business? Now, every businessis different, but there are so manydifferent applications, for ways you can use it.
Now, if you are sellingcoaching or consulting, this model, thisfunnel has been proven, it's processed hundredsof millions of dollars, for me and otherclients as well.
So this works really wellif you're doing coaching or high end consulting.
We're sure give any kindof high ticket services.
Um, if your sellingsomething that is ten, twenty, thirty, fifty,one hundred thousand dollars or more? Um, it works, reallywell there as well.
And, any kind ofprofessional services, mortgages, finances, anythingwhere there typically needs to be a phone callinvolved in selling the product, or the service, usuallybecause it's either very specialized, or veryexpensive, the high ticketed application funnelwill work for you.
In fact, almost anybusiness who comes to me saying, "Russell,funnels don't work for me because you know, I'mselling some of this fifty thousand dollars,nobody's gonna be able to buy that through a funnel.
" I tell them, yes theywill.
Use a high ticket application funnel, qualifythem, and figure out who is the best leads.
Have them, have themapply, and tell them why they should beusing your product, your services, and then you call and just sign up those people, it makes your jobso much easier, and so much better.
So, here's some of thebest practices inside of a high ticketapplication funnel.
Number one, um on the home page, you wanna have somekinda free case study, showing what's possibleif somebody wants to actually work with you,or buy your product, or buy your service.
Number two, the goal of this again is to share the case studies sothey can see what it's like to actually work with you.
Like, that's the magic ofthis, it gives them a glimpse of what it would be like ifthey had a chance to be, um, to have you as anactually client.
And it shows themproof, proof proof.
How much proof that you have,um about why, what it is you do, will work for them.
Okay, number two,then looks at that, they click on the buttonand then we have a pop-up that comes up.
This pop-up is where we startthe application process, where you try to gettheir email address.
Now, I like having more proof,because as you can see here, one of mine, I have moreproof of what it's like to work with me.
Then, at the call toaction, give me your email address, to start theapplication right now.
And this way, ifthey don't finish the application later, I cansend emails and follow up with them, until theyactually finish the application, okay.
Now, move on topage number three.
Now, on this page,guess what I do? I provide more proof.
Yes, I want them to understandthat working with me, is the greatest decisionever made in their life.
So I give them more proof,I have another video here, more success stories, moretestimonials, more proof.
Then in that applicationwhere I ask them to fill out this form, to tell me whyI should, um, why I should work with you.
Notice the shift in um,in perspective, here.
Instead of, meoutbound calling leads, trying to convince them tobuy my product, my service.
These people were fillingout an application.
They seen all the proof.
They seen these case studies.
They seen all thesethings, now they are trying to tell me, why theyshould work with me.
It changes the entiresales process for you.
And then, the last page afterthey fill out the application.
Again, then you tellthem, what to expect next.

You know, whatever it is,tell them what to expect, and that's the laststep here inside of an high application funnel.
